--The Afghani women can trade in their veils for face paint; another veil. -- i like that... maybe that's your best post. never having been one to ask a woman to do or wear anything i wouldn't, i like the face paint veil better myself. the islamic veil though has its attraction to the alpha male. the islamic alpha male will take his 4 wives and dress them in lingerie and cocktail dresses, then put the cloak and veils over them as they go out shopping with their spiked heels in cuban-healed stockings going clickety clack on the grocery store floor. with the wives' cloaks going to the floor, in public no male can see their feet but all can hear that full high-heeled aural assault. when they get home they take off their cloaks and their master has a miniature victoria's secret fashion show. there's something to be said for that, but for every islamic alpha male there have to be 3 beta males for it to work i would think.... unless of course you have a lot of war widows. the only person i ever spoke to in-depth about islam mentioned that in real islam they only take additional wives in the case of widows and such. it certainly will be interesting to see if 'islam' or 'judeo-christianity' or - my favorite - gynocracy will win out here. if gynocracy wins out we can change history to hystery. here's a 4th way: individuocracy - everyone refuses to cash single 'nother government check. andy
