I meant I regard as a total joke either the idea 1) That the slowdown is confined to telecom OR 2) That the telecom slowdown is contained Wasn't dissin' your statement, but the one you responded, too. Prior to the Telecom debacle becoming known it was clear that recession was upon mfrs in general ... an uptick here or there may be fodder for the fools on CNBC ... but it hasn't nearly run its course. There is simply too much debt overhang and too much capacity due to the cheap money binge ... it'll take years to resolve.
