gdichaz, don't get me wrong..the JAVA announcement is a pretty big thing, although it wasn't a surprise since Qualcomm had been saying they plan to support java. I just don't know if java has any major advantages over BREW. I guess J2ME is more of a competitor to BREW?

I the reason i bring this up, is cause in the past java and brew were considered competitors. Some people gave java the advantage since java is already a popular platform. I guess we can now add that new committee Nokia has formed and maybe Stinger (MSFT) to the list of competitors?
