More Dell: XP is shipping in 46% of PCs already? Can't believe that.

Tony, Re: "See overall market flat in the next quarter, but see themselves continuing to gain share. Didn't sound that good there."

Traditionally, isn't the first quarter seasonally lower than the fourth quarter? It seems to be that if they expect a flat market, then that's good news.

P.S. 80% Pentium 4 shipments is also very good, suggesting that the ratio of Intel's sales is more in the high end, which may raise ASPs. I assume that total desktop shipments includes Celeron?

Tony Viola. Re: "Harry, how have you been?" Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. I've been out of town since mid-November.

I've been fine. Looking forward to next year, as 2001 has been pretty lack luster. Keep your great posts and conference call summaries coming through.

Have a Happy New Year.
