Only belatedly do politicians now refer to TWA 800 as a bombing. It kind of snuck its way into being accepted and openly referred to that way, years after the fact. They're just not gonna refer to this as sabotage/terrorism. The airline industry would go under! Especially before the holidays.

But why this plane, that is another mystery. I mean, they were going to Santo Domingo. Not exactly the population you care to hit.

If the wake of another jet is responsible for the crash of the jet, then somebody explain how jets manange to survive flying through thunderstorms, wind shears of various directions, etc etc. A 747 takes off a full 2 minutes and 20 seconds before they do, 20 seconds more than the 2 minute minimum. I smell cover up.
