RS, if limited to concrete jungle coverage, a Globalstar ATC system would be much cheaper than the usual $multibillion terrestrial coverage costs. Rural areas would have only LEO links, not terrestrial. Thanks for the links RS, Mqurice

RS: I believe Globalstar UT emits more power than a Terrestrial UT. Let's see.. Globasltar and a Terrestrial Repeater type network??? Oh! Yes.. I think I remember... doesn't Loral have a security interest in a terrestrial wireless repeater network? Yes, I am sure I have read that somewhere before.... (Wink, Wink..) From "this" companies 10-Q.. As collateral security for these deferred payments, we have granted Loral a security interest in our terrestrial repeater network. I don't think Loral ever mentioned this little tid-bit in their SEC filings.. Anyone wanna guess who "this" company is... Rocket Scientist can't play...
