RAWA's concerns are getting a lot of "play" in the media and we can't just ignore them. However, RAWA tends to be on the leftward side of the political spectrum. There are other Afghan women's groups out there, some of which are more conservative and probably more accepting of the Northern Alliance. I'm too busy to research this, but perhaps someone else out there would like to undertake it.
