Re: "Now answer the question. Why aren't you union thugs ever satisfied with what moneys you extract from these companies without regard for the firm's success or failure?"

Not a valid question, but I'll answer it anyway. UAW has worked closely with the Big Three automakers for years to preserve jobs, even though that meant concessions. Ford made TV commercials a year or two ago lauding the UAW-Ford partnership. To infer as a generality that union employees don't care about the success of the company is utter hogwash.

Oftentimes, the problem with concessions is that after a company has rebounded from tough times, the concessions stay in effect far longer than they should. Which is why contracts are bargained every three years instead of every 10 years.

There ain't a union today that doesn't keep an eye on the company's bottom line. You'll find this interesting: In the past three bargaining sessions I participated in, our bargaining committee asked to see the books on our specific location to determine whether management's financial lamentations were real.

The answer all three times was "No!" Ha ha ha ha.

No company, no jobs. That's true. On the other hand, every company deserves the union it has through past practices.

Lobbing an insult in the form of a question and expecting a serious response? Silly boy.

Answer this: How come the thieves in the corner offices need thugs like you to intimidate people from asking for what they want and organizing to get it?
