Unlike Hillary, Reagan pushed for Atta to be released from jail also.

Tom, I thought you should see what passes for good reasoning skills from our Superintendent of Schools (and UC Regent) Delaine Easton.

UC Regents institue new admissions policy.

24hour.beaufortgazette.com
State Schools Superintendent Delaine Eastin, who is also a regent, said the change helps rectify inequities in
California's public schools. Without comprehensive review, UC could lose some potentially great students, Eastin
said.

"We'll miss Abe Lincoln if we're not careful. We'll certainly bypass Oprah and we'll miss Whoopi Goldberg and we
won't bring Einstein or Edison forward," she said. All those people, she said, "came from dysfunctional families or
had serious learning disabilities.

Too bad Oprah and Whoopi did not go to UC, they could have been a success. Lincoln of course never had a chance at greatness as the Univ was not in existence. Einstein, Edison, give me a break.

Lucky for us Gov. Davis has kept Easton out of the classroom where she could do some real damage.
