Teachers don't share to much in the over paid arena here administrators are well paid but not the teaching staff, in Manitoba teachers are overpaid, here no. I am sure you are right about administration and custodial level pay scale, the regulations that end up as in SF costing much and doing nothing and making many people question why do they even want to consider voting for additional funding.

My emotion weeps on this one as i know the affluent are opting for schools that are in the 10,000 and above bracket. They assume this is the assured quality of education they desire. I think it is segregation of check book able and non able. The irony of it all is that in the private system the primary directives are those of base education and not emotional understanding, there is no iacceptance of less but the constant request of gain more. The public system could accomplish the same thing if the basic of fail and there of must reapeat is used. Get tha first basic right even if it means two fails and you are on your way. < this is broadly spoken i am not talking about disablitites.>

There are wonderful children who come from poverty at least in a free education system they have a chance to remove themselves from poverty.
