Hi Maurice!
Back from my week cruising the southern caribbean and LOOK what all happened while I was gone! *S*

Just a correction to one of your posts:
"Kyocera was the company which produced the Iridium handset with the detachable 'around town' terrestrial handset."

Kyocera produced the "candy bar" phone for Iridium in which the SATELLITE portion of the phone was detachable from the "around town" terrestrial handset. Just the opposite from the Motorola satellite phone with detachable terrestrial cassette. From that description alone (plus the fact that we went wild for the Kyocera phone during MOT Iridium training) you can imagine why MOT put Kyocera thru so much hell to get the phone to market.

Just catching up from last week.... :-) Tanned TB98

**Actually just re-read your post again and now believe that we're talking the same type of handset...just a different way of phrasing :-) plus - I could still be under the influence of a week's worth of pina coladas :-)
