I don't get your point. They have the chance to abort now, as the law stands. Nevertheless, some carry to term, some abandon, some give up for adoption. Again, I do not get your point. The use of the term "brood mare" is merely inflammatory, and the question of children in orphanages is neither here nor there. I merely addressed the relevance of the analogy to expectations of care after birth, especially in the light of a risk knowingly undertaken. Since the whole matter turns on whether there is reason enough to forbid the procedure, of course it is an undue imposition if no such reason exists. However, if such reason does exists, I would argue that it is not........

Keep a nice little stable of pregnant women? Now, you're just being silly. Nobody forced these women to get pregnant, except in the case of rape. You seem to think it is OK to terminate a human life just because it is still dependent on it's mother and it is convenient for the woman to do that. I don't, probably we shall never agree. Maybe we should just abort all babies and let the human race become extinct.
