The thing to remember is that, if history is any guide, there is no rush to get back in. You aren't going to "miss the train". When the bubble finally finishes purging, there will be many, manyu years - decades, probably - of outstanding, above-trend market returns, as a glorious new bull rises from the ashes of the secular bear. But keep in mind how long other secular bears have lasted. They aren't 18-month events; they have multiple severe legs that cover spans of several years.
