Agreed, Eddie. I was thinking of calling it a negative divergence for lack of a better term. Almost all the upticks in indicators in recent months have been based on monetary conditions. They may be reformulating the LEI by the time this is over. The only historical precedent to this is troubling, but no one ever mentions it, which makes it more troubling. -g-

We probably need to see a couple more things before calling it deflation, though, such as the CPI below the 1998 lows and the CRB below 173. Until then, they may be able to rescue this. JMHO...
