so the russians and the pakistanis are splitting afghanistan?

...and this is like poland between the soviets and nazis?

...and the u.s. is on which side?

there is a great sense of 'spin' or 'manipulation' here...

i still contend that there is something going on but no one knows what it is...

not you, not me, not yaacov, no one...

i do know that we need leaders who are willing to lead from the field tent and foxhole; leaders willing to serve in the front lines... that's the problem with all of these modern states... none of their leaders fight in the front.

i challenge george bush and cheney to become 25mm gunners in the M2 bradley fighting vehicle, supporting our troops out there in the field. put the whole congress out there too. if they die we'll replace them.

and if they give some promise of booty and let anyone who wants to sign up, they might get a large turnout. but what is it that they - our leaders - want? do they want a large militia-army ready to storm enemy positions; or do they want something entirely different? why haven't they raised the militia?

believe me, the u.s. has a lot of very trigger-happy people. in all of our wars we pump out more ammo than anyone. the germans thought we were downright crazy.

even patton or someone said it, 'there's nothing like the sting of combat.'
