I apologize if I made a mistake. I cannot now recall where I read that a normal pregnancy was actually healthful for a woman, and so I cannot verify my recollection......

Gee, if child bearing is so bad for women, it's amazing that the human race has survived so long.

The solution, I guess, is to commit maximum scientific effort to achieve total in vitro pregnancy, develop artificial wombs, and free women from ever again having to go through the pain and danger of pregnancy and childbirth.

Why are our medical scientists so slow to take this obviously necessary direction?
