I guess I feel like a healthy respect is good. The fear that I feel is unfounded and is not healthy. It prevents me from doing things I did all of my life until I was 30. I enjoyed hunting but I just can't get back on the horse. I sold all of my guns and the longer I go without being around them the more I fear them. It's not good and I need to address the issue. Certainly my son will want to hunt and I would like to teach him. If I can't get past the fear of guns that wont be possible.
