Cactus Jactus,

Do you watch College Basketball? My old College team upset the number 3 in the nation last night.

Basketball is the only sport where I prefer to watch college over the pros.
The pro b-ball players are almost freaks of nature. Superhuman. The team with the most superhuman or tallest freaks gets to win a majority of the games. They don't really play hard unless there is a rivalry between teams or if they are in the playoffs.
In college b-ball, the talent pool is spread out more. Diluted to a point where almost any team has a chance to beat the other. Coaching is very important and strategy plays a huge part of the game.

I usually don't watch many games until the tournaments begin.
I love watching the Big East Tournament. I remember cheering for St. John's as they usually played George Town for the tittle. It was usually Patrick Ewing against Chris Mullen and Mark Jackson.
Those where alsways great games.
Also loved cheering for Villanova. Especially the year they went all the way and won the NCAA Tournement.
That friend of mine in college who died in the WTC was a big fan of them because his girlfriend (and soon to be wife) went to Villanova.
We were cheering so hard for them because of him, you would have thought we went to that school.
Our college team was division 3 and even a person like myself could have probably made the team.

Glad your team beat the Wild Cats. Didn't Rick Patino coach the Wild Cats? Does he coach them again or his he up in Boston with the Celtics?
