Dem fresh ideas perhaps are as simple as "we can govern as effecively as republicans can from a bottom line point of view but not totally eschew new programs." Federal workers dont have lifetime tenure in airport security. Lives are at stake. Cops and fireman have unions. The world doesnt come to an end. I am not worried about that and will feel better about flying with folks in uniform with a measurable IQ watching the luggage and the faces. mike

No, I never voted for Tom Campbell. Moderate republican is an oxymoron as long as the party platform is anti-gay, anti-choice, and opposes seperation of church and state.
