emc is a funny stock...got in at 10.70 a few wks ago during the downgrades and all the negativity...despite the bad earnings and losses, trading up very nicely...analysts are such sheep...strong buy at the high and sell when its down 90%???...seems very dumb to me...regardless, wasnt expecting this kind of move for awhile but what a pleasant surprise...:)...will be holding my emc shares for many yrs to come.

And EMC has fared better during all of these posts expounding upon its dominating market share, technological prowess, etc.? Chart looks remarkably similar to NTAP's over the past six months and year.

Being a "groupie" of any stock, including EMC, has been -- and will continue to be -- dangerous to one's financial well-being.

Like vicious little chihuahuas, they'll never let go once they think that they are biting the fleshiest part of your leg. Apparently, that's a much sought after delicacy in chihuahua world.
