if we took it upon ourselves there was nothing that could stop us from having our way with a country like rwanda. somehow i don't think they could have done much to us with some "machetes".

What's it to you, you wouldn't have approved if we had.

we had to bomb kosovo for 78 straight days and kill nearly a couple thousand civilians to save a few thousands more, yet we were just too busy to save a million people in rwanda from hacking each other with machetes. uh huh.

Well, I suppose we could have done half a job in Kosovo and half a job in Rwanda and probably failed at both as a result. Would that have pleased you??

Unfortunately, Earth is not an ideal world, so we have to do what it takes to gain power, <<

oh my. rdb, talk about a philosophy!

Oh, nice job of context removal! You could get a good job with that kind of skill.

I'm going to be generous and give you a second chance to address what I really said. Here, I'll start again with a rephrasing:

i would rather republicans or conservatives stand up for their beliefs and lose than move to the left to bring more people into the party.

That kind of attitude deserves to live under a perpetual Clinton administration.
