ahhh, so if the union fires you then it's a-ok and most likely you were scum to begin with. But if a company lays you off due to economic conditions, they are the incarnation of the devil and beyond evil in every way. res- Mana From Hell: Sounds to me like you were one of those knuckle-jacks with one hand out all the time looking for a little "spare change." Company probably fired your sorry butt for just cause and the union said don't let the door hit you on the way out. You probably got more stories than Uncle Remus as to why you were "unjustly terminated."

When the Clinton power plant was being built a plumber was stealing supplies and welding belt buckles 5 days a week. His wife sold them out of the back of their pickup. On Saturday and Sunday he got overtime to do what he was supposed to be doing the rest of the week. He got caught and the union threatened to shut the job down if he was fired. He kept doing his 5/2 for two years thanks to the union. That goes on my power bill.

There those negative vibes again... Where did you get the idea I was fired? Au contrair (sp? I'm too lazy to look up if that is the correct spelling, I guess I didn't get all the union out of me) Six months after I quit being a card carrying member and steward, my company promoted me to management because I am and always have been a hard worker. "You probably got more stories than Uncle Remus as to why you were 'unjustly terminated'". You forget that I am not a democrat or a hippie from the 60's generation. I admit when I'm wrong. I take responsibility for my actions and I try to rectify the situation without blaming someone else. I can help you if you just take that first step. I believe in you.
