Panchyshyn Respond to of 11633 Now then there are some who are nimble and quite ABLE to trade profitably, ---------------- Granted there maybe a few. And a say a few. I take issue with anyone who says that trading is superior. Especially if that anyone will not provide evidence to show that fact. Making a blanket statement with little to no follow through or support is not evidence. It isn't even close. -------------------- LT track record is hard to establish. --------------- On the contrary track record (long or short term) is very easy to establish. All one need do is go to time and date stamped documented postings like these, and compare them to the actually trading numbers , it is all there. I have not been afraid to detail my end, my strategy and its results. I expect no less for someone who claims with just a statement that his trading is superior. A look to some traders posted transactions here as I have pointed out are pathetic at best. In a previous posting I gave a generous 50-50 , hit or miss, chance of trading successfully at any one time based upon what I found . The true results are much worse. 50-50 is not superior it is not even close. ------------------------------------- -------------- Getting Stan to post some trades for documentation has proved a no show. Phony superior traders don't want to put up. So I took it upon myself to find that info. The results are again pathetic as expected. ------------------------------------------ I dont see the traders on this thread IMHO spewing anything that is so far out of the realm of possiblilities. ------------ You don't think a blanket statement like "trading is superior" is not spewing. It is. And it is way out of the realm of possibility because for one there is no comparison between anything documented. I have documented my end. That other end (trading) (stan) provides nothing for comparison purposes yet maintains its complete superiority. Thats just fantasy. Its no where near the realm of possibility---------------------- U all are pretty civil IMO ----------- Civil , I direct you to post # 1885 where it says from another poster """""""""""""Stan, Save your personal attacks for another thread please. You can disagree with someone's ideas without name calling."""""""""""" ---------- A check of a number of past postings of Stan to me contain absolutely no discussion about trusts or related and are only insults or tauntings. Look in particular to Stans response to that poster. -------------------------- ---------- On several occassions stan has indicated he is through with his little game but yet each time he comes back for more again with no discussion but insults and tauntings ------------ --------- Hardly civil at all on his part. ------------------------------------ I was looking exactly for an oppurtunity to initiate positions in the trusts spoken of here, I will start to integrate them in my portfolio. And will be LT hold. Now that said, get some huge rise 2 years from now I would dump them near recent highs and trade them from a month to month bases. --------------- And if that is your choice after examination of all pertinent facts then by all means. But then as I have stated before without a firm strategy to follow you can't be sure you will hit the highs. You only think you can. As the documented cases here have shown. Traders have a nasty habit of just plain missing opportunities. And one such opportunity is selling at near the right times. A trader may hit it once but the track record thus far is that he may completely miss or just may plain miss selling out due either to not taking some info into account or from just being hit by something unexpected or by just being plain wrong. These misses eat away at any hits. And they are more frequent than we are led to believe----------------- -------------- I trade , not much now, but have and do from time to time. I know it first hand. To be successful at it one must spend a lot of time and expend a lot of effort at it. People like stan think and state that just any average joe can do it and do it successfully. Well the truth is that the average joe doesn't have a lot of time, and he certainly doesn't put enough effort into much of anything let alone investing. So just how can HE be successful or superior at it?. WELL HE CANT. TO TRY TO FOOL HIM INTO THINKING OTHERWISE IS NONSENSE. And is just setting up joe average for a fall. Or make him victim to a trader on the other end. ------------------------------- I would continue to hold them through the record dates, Cause I definitely see the value of long term compund hold.
