Howdy pls418,

Re: is Bush told Putin and maybe Mexico that if they didn't go along with the cut backs that we would buy oil from them to fill the Strategic Petroleum Reserves at a set price even if it falls below that price. Now how is that for a wild theory?

As I was drifting under the Fibonacci arches, illuminating my way down the HTP canal under the light of the myriad doji candlesticks and bracing into the curves of alternating support and resistance, I happened upon your gemological specimen. You, sir, are clever. I read your words and a five letter word came to my mind. Rhymes with Citgo. <w>

Once again, it is the magical touch, administered from on high. A deux ex machina relying upon (who else?) the American taxpayer to make up the difference and pave the way to a bright tomorrow.

OTOH, Bush could use SPR in the reverse fashion to the Clinton machinations of October, 2000, when William Jefferson cut the nuts off the speculators by flooding the market. This time around, Bush may well find that it is in the interest of his pals in Midland to maintain price supports by burying excess inventory in Louisiana salt domes and calling it a national security decision.

Just spekulatin', Ray
