AMD sees revenues flat to up in current quarter -(ON24)
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE:AMD - news), the No. 2 maker of computer microprocessors, on Thursday reiterated financial guidance for the fourth quarter, but said weak demand could delay the company's return to profitability until the second quarter of 2002."

That doesn't mean Amd could delay the return to profitability way past the middle of next year either. They are so good at it. Middle of 04 wouldn't surprise me... if they're still in business that is.
