Yeah, exactly. It has a lot to do with proximity and the issue of insulation. We, today, are more energy conscious and so codes are developed because air envelopes are tighter.

Which reminds me, I was filling the Big Beast up with fuel today and reminded of JXM'ds remark about guys and the cost of fuel. Well, he is right and he is wrong. Guys don't buy gas just because they want to buy gasoline no matter what the cost. What happens then is, people drive less. People car pool. They do not not cave in to higher fuel prices.

Hell, I drive my Porsche instead of my Bammer. Much better fuel consumption. But I digress.

I agree with you a hundred percent. I have an old Tudor from the turn of the nineteenth Century. If this house were to be perfectly sealed I'd need an O2 tank in every room.

Um......the property is a commercial building that can store 8 antique autos. You got me, how did you know?

It has a second floor though!!!!. Well, before you guess.....the logic is to use it for small parts. I might also put a small bed in there, one never can tell.

What the heck, it's heated. And no, I don't do normal commerce. That requires work.
