Hairy Monster seems to be an invisible band (Travis ;). Searched Amazon, Google and CD Now and came up empty.

Great clip on the link. Let me know if you come up with anything?

Check out the following link for a discussion of vain attempts to find the band:

Hairy Monster is no longer a band, and the song "Dream" was never released as you hear it in the ad. Rather, Applied Materials's ad agency, BigMouth in San Francisco, had the band take a song very similar to the one we've all heard and paid them to revise/re-record it to serve as the score to this TV spot. The band subsequently broke up without ever releasing the song (either version); but the ad agency tells me they're working on getting them back together to at least release the TV spot version of "Dream" on CD as a single. I'll let you know if I hear anything else.
