If you have forced air, the unit can set in one room and have the ozone travel through the vents by way of cold air returns.

The idea is to produce only the amount needed to keep toxins to a minimum. Commercial ozone generators are used to remove smoke, skunk etc. These are far to powerful for humans to be around when in use. What we use is an Alpine Air unit. It's not the best but it does the job for our home. Ebay auction price was about 250$
