Hi Peter,

Thanks for the update.

802.11g voted to be all things to everyone, and let OFDM, PBCC and Gold Codes expand 802.11b to much higher rates. Next year will be fun for all.

Let the market decide? Is Gold Codes the Supergold proposal? I didn't see reported that there was another option, on top of Intersil and TI proposals. Will 802.11a OFDM be the primary choice of vendors (aside from TI), or will Intersil be promoting CCK-OFDM strongly? It seems to me that any vendor migrating to 5Ghz .11a will want this in the 2.4Ghz band as well as the CCK backward compatibilibity? BWTHDIK. Are we likely to see access points serving more than 2 of these options? All of them?

I understand that Cisco showed well at comdex

Let's hope they can lead us out of this recession. I agree that e-learning may be the next killer app, as well as vpn.
