We're probably talking about different malls called
Eaton's Center. I'm in Victoria. Are you talking TO?
The trouble with a country as big as Canada and the
cities with such great distances inbetween is that
what we say about one city is not true about another.

Thanks for the info about the REITs. It would be interesting
if we had someone in each major centre across the country
to get a sense of a national trend (if there is such a
thing). In spite of the slowdown in the economy, there
is still money around. A new four suite condo on the
waterfront has the smallest suite at something over 250,000.
I think the largest suite (none are large) is 390,000.
Of course,it the buyers are American retirees with real
money, the price looks attractive.
