It has now been pointed out that one is able to post on a topic without directly addressing a person. Also one could reference that person's post if clarification regarding the topic were needed in the response. This seems to me a good compromise--allowing CH the ability to respond to ideas without actually having to talk to Poet while Poet has to accept that her public posts can be alluded to by anyone. Beyond that, though, it starts looking like a weird obsessive need to upset her personally. And why anyone would take pleasure in that is baffling, no matter what the rules are. So I think your final statement says it all.

It will be interesting, of course, to see exactly how often you find yourself compelled to address Poet, or discuss her.

As to the "post message" matter, see my reply to J.C.

As to the remainder of your post, we all do a certain amount of self-censorship. We happen to do it differently. Which is entirely appropriate, since we are different people. But I have always enjoyed posting with you, even when we disagree.
