There has always been devision in the Jewish community over Zionism. Rare bird once said that jews would only be safe in a jewish state.Many others believe they can live and prosper and find security in America . I understand that in Isreal there have always been divisions between the european jews and the jews native to the middle east who would rather they had never arrived,and now one can add in russian jews.
