Dude, you are being condescending. Knock it off. Your original reply to my comments on a national ID stated, "there will come a time that no person can buy, or sell, without the number of the beast."

In the context of the discussion, I was wondering if you equated an ID "number" with "the number of the beast." I was also wondering if the "beastiness" of the number was attached to the giver of the ID number or the holder of the ID number. Who the devil is the devil is a devilish question, no?

Now you got me wondering if your opposition to a national ID is that some poor person is going to end up with triple boxcars.

I don't care what your religious beliefs are. If those beliefs are the basis for your opposition to a national ID, that's OK too. You are already known by many numbers. Do you think VISA cards are a threat in some religious context?

My entry into the ID discussion expressed the view that people could be coerced into having an ID. Please do not confuse any of my remarks as even the slightest interest in discussing religion -- yours, mine or anyone else's.

You probably know this but.....

I confess to COMPLETE ignorance on one subject -- what the heck are all those squiggles you put by your name? Is there an official guide to understanding or are you just doodling?
