I have to go see Harry Potter. I guess it could be fun. I finally took the time today to find the quote that has been on my mind ~

"Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection."
MLK, from the Birmingham jail

In these times when we are trying to "make a solution in Afganistan", not to mention other things, maybe it is good to bear in mind that a desire to help, or a thought that we are helping when we aren't really listening, is a good idea.

Which is off-topic from movies. So getting on-topic, I saw Broken Arrow for the first time yesterday. Interesting movie.

Did I mention how GOOD Shallow Hal is? It's a wonderful movie. I really recommend it. It reminded me a great deal of Deuce Bigalow, Male Gigolo. Both these movies are (I hope) being seen by teenage audiences and they both have the refreshing message that inner beauty is important.
