That is correct, but you are totally missing the point. The issue is not "obligation". The issue is character.

Without curiosity and interest there is NO point in any of us being here to read about or discuss anything.

That is correct, but it is irrelevant to the subject. "Curiosity" is not a measurement which is used to ctritique the morality or decency of a decision.

The poet said CH was being terribly frightening. I found no hint of anything frightening in the short chain of posts between CH and the poet

Firstly, fright is subjective. The courts except it as so (at least in Canada as involves Peace Bonds). Secondly, regular posters here are aware of the fact that several women connected with this issue embarassed you in previous debate. So your gratuitous "concern" here appears more than suspect. Thirdly, Michael...are you unfamiliar with the concept that behaviours have reason??
