We had companies WAITING for the Kyocera phone (Coca Cola comes to mind) The Kyocera Iridium phone was small, compact and the design was great - having the satellite cassette snap onto the cellular phone was a superior idea - and Motorola HATED it. Probably the only design flaw I thought it had was the antenna not rotating...kind of awkward. There was also a Kyocera Iridium pager - which looked almost identical to the Motorola Iridium pager.

The hoops MOT made Kyocera jump thru were unbelieveable. I had lunch with the Kyocera rep a few times and the stories he told would have been funny if not tragic. If what he said was true - Kyocera literally "broke the mold" on the phones after BK. I have some ENGLISH brochures if you'd like them :-) might be easier to comprehend *S*
