Hoser, it was a spectacular display of leonid meteors. i've never ever seen anything like it. we put a tarp down on our frost covered deck, laid some sleeping blankets on top, a couple of pillows and he in his overcoat and i in my robe snuggled up in the perfectly calm and clear night and watched the heavens. we went to back to bed around three i guess with very cold noses! it was something else. That was better than Coach's rendition. But I still don't know what you are tawking about. Give me adjectives, adverbs, and pronouns!!! At least 1000 of them. I missed it and so did Mr. Star Gazer himself, elbigdipper... I hate the fact that I was awake, the skies were clear, and I decided to check my e-mail... I relied to one of my high school friend who sent me a 16 meg file that had some sort of a file extension that my computer could not read. I'm too embarrased to ask Polvie for the 10th time how to tell my PC which application to change to to open it... Anyway, I get the visual of you and Harold watching them, but I want to know what it was like. Unbelieveable is what 20 people have said so far on various threads. So far I keep picturing that the stars formed the shaped of Tino Martinez's homerun in the 9th inning of game 4 while I was sitting in my car outside the stadium... -ClapOff *Edit* I see we are writing at the same time.
