I stayed up til 3 and then went outside and sat waiting in my nightgown with Myers all excited and jumping on me-- (nighttime is HIS time- I think he thought I was going to go mousing with him) while the sky filled with clouds. Finally I saw these small objects moving slowly through the clouds--and thought wow! I didn't know comets moved so slowly.... then I realised that I was getting confused watching the clouds covering the stars-- the way sometimes you get confused when a car next to you moves and you think it's you? I never did see a comet. So I went to bed.
I think the next time this happens is 2099. See you there!
