Actually men do abuse women an awful lot on these boards (and they abuse each other too, mercilessly). They like to impugn their sexuality. They like to imply that if they are assertive they must be lesbians, or ugly, or both. There is plenty of evidence for this. Your assertion is simply not supported by the facts. This board happens to have a rather large concentration of women. Most boards do not. On those boards you will find men, and mostly men alone, being absolutely vile. Seek and ye shall find. Or don't, and you can just believe me.

Now here is an interesting post where a poster actually impugns men who are liked by the women. Notice the "purport to be men" and the feminine side remark. It's very classic. They get much worse than this, of course.
