Paul, very nice info. Springdale with 4.3GB/s DDRII+ and Prescott on .09u manufacturing with Hyperthreading. I also like the fact that it will be backwards compatible with Northwood. Sounds like a combination to look out for. But the question is: will it stand up to Hammer, once Hammer gets on .09u? I'm guessing higher frequencies will make up the difference against a higher IPC machine like Hammer, especially while Intel is a process generation ahead, but without multi-threaded apps, Hyperthreading may not make much of a difference. It looks like an almost never-ending game with Intel trying to update the world's software. I wonder if they will be successful.
