The weather might have been the reason, considering what Miami did to them down in the sunshine state.<g>

VT will definitely draw better than SU no matter what bowl either goes to. I would think that fact should influence a bowl committee.

For what it's worth (not much), here's one man's view of the possible bowl matchups. VT = Insight ??

The way Fla State is playing this year, VT or SU would have a decent shot against them. BC just might knock SU down a notch after their game this Saturday. Hope the weather is nasty for your home game against Miami. Miami still has to beat Washington. I expect that they will , but you never know?

1. No chance that SU could bring the fan base to the Gator that VT would...SU has a dismal record as far as their fans supporting and traveling to bowls.

2.I'm sure that the Gator would probably lean towards Fla State...if everything was reasonably equal. Maryland should get a major.

3. If Tech beats Miami..at this point I don't know what would happen? I'd guess that it would hurt Miami more than it would help VT?
