Perhaps. All the boys spent a lot of time in Canada and have seen the Northern Lights and meteors before. Then as well, insofar as from where I am the best viewing is in the south, southeast I have New York blazing away. I may give it a shot though. Even so there is always next year. I could plan on taking him north to some remote part of New York State in August to see the Perseids when he is out of school.
