I couldn't agree more. We sacrifice our best and brightest to end the tyranny of Saddam in their country less than a decade ago. And this is the thanks and appreciation we get. They would all be bowing to Saddam today if it wasn't for the U.S. governments foreign policy. The same one they hate. Our carriers may need to be there for quite a bit longer before this is all over. We must do the dirty work now while the American people are firmly behind the effort. I personally would support our helping Turkish forces move south into Iraq and take over the northern oil fields, while simultaneously destabilizing Saddams regime. At least they've moved toward democracy and have moderate Muslims in charge.
