Constantine, can't you see a market emerging for more middleware products? That is, a lot more software that interfaces between low level optimized code, and high level, easy to write applets. I can see that becoming increasingly important. After all, if you could sell software that vastly increases the performance of a given set of apps, that might be a very popular seller. On the other hand, I'm not sure what about the Microsoft monopoly might make this difficult to achieve. If Microsoft owns all the libraries that businesses use to build their applications, how is another software company going to come in and optimize? That's the only roadblock I see in an otherwise excellent opportunity. wbmw
