Haqi: Is George Bush the Anti- Christ? Is the United States of America the New Babylon? Is a national ID card a mark on the forehead or hand? Will one use the number of the Beast (666) on every transaction? Or will one use one's own identification number on some transactions? Is the Book of Revelations transparent, or is it a obscure in its meaning, especially as regards external events? Did not the Apostles anticipate the imminent return of Jesus? Then, when the Western Empire fell, many people thought that it was the end of the world. At other times, like the first millennium, many people expected the end of days. However, as Jesus said, "No man knoweth the hour", and that includes Hal Lindsay. Finally, if the prophecies are true, and apply as you suppose they do, then there is nothing to do about them except let them play out. It appears to be the case that the Beast must precede the Second Coming, so one may as well accept it, if one believes the text to mean that.......
