SemiOT:07:32 ET Storage Sector : Lehman initiates the storage industry with a MKT PERFORM rating; initiates EMC, NTAP, BRCD, MCDT with MKT PERFORM; AKAM and STOR with BUYS. However cautious on the sector saying that growth expectations are unreasonably high (particularly SANs) and sequential rev growth should remain subdued until at least 2H02; profitability in systems probably won't rebound to former levels; current "fair" valuations remain well above norms of 1992-97 and don't reflect expectation of subdued near-term growth.
