Gus, where are you, still in Herat or across the border in Mashad, Iran? From Masahd you can travel to Mazendran, Gilan, Urumia, and down then across the Sanandej to Iraq!

Be careful about the Barzani Kurds once you leave Urumia, they love Uba-Uba!
