I believe that is why President Bush didn't want to have that provision in the bill....but the Democrats did....compromise wins....

I sure as heck hope the American people don't lose....

Are you implying that federal policing of the borders, e.g. to stop drug smuggling, hasn't guaranteed that there won't be drug smuggling? Burst my liberal bubble.
