I thought it was interesting too that a couple more things were mentioned in that article.... 1) They mentioned 2 missing US sailors from the USS Peterson....there were 8 sailors originally...evidently 6 were rescued, but so far we haven't seen how they were rescued. Wonder what else was on the tanker besides 2,000 tons of smuggled Iraqi oil? 2) This was also at the bottom of the article....so while the Pentagon prepares, the State Department resists... It is probably a good thing to have point-counterpoint right now...gives us time to build resources and information, and to finish one job before starting another. The State Department has adamantly opposed broadening the war to Iraq out of concern that it would infuriate Arab public opinion and fracture the U.S.-led alliance against al-Qa'eda.
