We all know that one man's terrorist is another man's
freedom fighter
- Stephen Jukes: Reuters head of global news.

Hey Jukes, tell that to the family of one of your reporters who was gunned down yesterday by a "freedom fighter."

Stephen Jukes, Reuters...Now he can call the Taliban murderers....of his own staff. He didn't want to use the word 'terrorist'..... He really just doesn't "get it"....this is about civilization....or not.

Four journalists missing and feared dead in ambush in Afghanistan

JALALABAD, Afghanistan (AP) - Four international journalists were missing and feared dead Monday after gunmen ambushed a convoy of reporters in a narrow mountain pass on the road to the capital, Kabul.

The six gunmen stopped the cars and led the journalists away, then opened fire, witnesses said.

Those missing included a television cameraman and a photographer working for the Reuters news agency; a journalist with the Spanish daily El Mundo; and a journalist with the Italian daily Corriere della Sera.

An Afghan translator working with the journalists also was missing, and his fate was unknown.
